A Fiber Woven Tale:  using a loom to weave your narrative.

Join us for a fun, expressive afternoon!
Sunday, March 24, 2024
1-4 pm

$60 workshop fee (plus materials; see below)

Loom weaving has long been a craft that leads to beautiful and practical pieces you can adorn yourself or your home with. It is also a great way to express yourself via art therapy. Join Vanessa Levin, LCMHC, in a workshop that teaches loom weaving basic techniques along with centering exercises and opportunities to share the stories and designs you create in class.

Do you have something that’s been on your mind you’d like to work out?  It keeps swimming around in your mind? This class is for you! It’s also for you if you have a memory/story you’d like to keep in a tangible kinesthetic format.

Or are you just curious about loom weaving and want to see what all the hype is about? No experience necessary in loom weaving, art, or story telling.

Workshop Details:

We will have a snack and stretch break. There is a coffee shop close by and a grocery store across the street to get drink and food should you decide you don’t want to bring snacks. Wear comfortable clothes as we will do some light stretching and breathing exercises to get focused.
